What is for the better for you? For me, it’s being able to have friends all over the world that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Plus it’s so fast to have a conversation with someone. Not to mention the multitude of ways to do so. From email, to chat, to video. Unfortunately we know someone half way around the world than our own neighbors. What advantages & disadvantages have you noticed?

I have a cell phone and can call someone in the event that there is an emergency and need help.
The cell phone can also prove to be a distraction if you are not careful about that and don't manage how much time you spend on it.

I feel technology like the internet and Blu-ray/DVD movies let me view, and share content like video files, movies, etc at a more affordable price, and more easily from my home.
The internet and cell phones also makes it possible to read other people's opinion or share my opinion on a topic without needing to physically travel to a certain location to talk to people, or to buy their book to read their content.
