How is Flipnote Studio going to work?

I already knew there is going to be a flipnote studio coming to the 3DS. But how is the 3D going to work? Tell me what you think.

I think it may already have been stated, but certainly the most logical conclusion is that you will have several layers, all one in front of the other, so that it will look like a series of cut-outs.

I have heard that flipnote studios 3ds (or flipnote memo) is going to be released June 30, 2011.
