How long can a multiplayer game last?

How long do you think a game with only multiplayer mode can last without another release in the series? In my opinion, they last less than a year before they start to decline because people get bored of the repetitive actions/jobs of the game.

if no new content or lack of support, then yes people will leave for other games. I personally feel this will be Destiny's issue in the coming months.

Yes I agree. I tend to find people will get bored no matter what though and numbers will eventually die down. DLC, if reasonably priced, can keep people playing for a long while.

DLC seems short though without doing a lot of grinding, my issue with Destiny that it is all grinidng.
