Over the years I have had to replace a few controllers either because they are worn down or because they have ended up with stick drift and can not be repaired due to them being out of warranty and it would cost me just as much to have it repaired as to just by a new one.
How many times have you had to replace controllers?
I don't know that I've ever had to replace a controller. I've bought extra controllers before but that's so that more people can play when I'm playing a multi-player game......like Mario Kart, for example.
I never replaced one but I have some with broken rubber on the analog sticks and some grime on the buttons or D-pad. I still have enough that are functional however that it's no big deal.
Several times. We also got some refurbished ones as we had one controller where the buttons would stick constantly. No fun when you want to go fast & end up dying due to the controller malfunctioning.
