Same!! I use it for professional matters like Uber,etc.. but rarely for personal.I sometimes use a cell phone to call a taxi, but I rarely use a cell phone for making calls in my daily life because I am mostly at home. I prefer communicating by e-mail, forums, and talking in real life.
I feel you! When I was a kid the home phone was the most used device now we are just texting and video calling it’s crazy how times changeIt's amazing how we've moved away from phone calls as a society. When I was younger I remember being on the phone for hours sometimes. I couldn't tell you now what my friends and I would talk about! Actually come to think of it I remember we would watch shows together and chitchat during it lol
Tbh, you'd be surprised how many people still use the actual phone function, especially when you get into buisiness and government environments where they still rely on traditional phone calls.I feel you! Apple may even remove the call feature at some point when they figure out that it’s not used much

In my workplace, we still use landlines (we do run on VOIP), but we still do traditional phone calls, and people call us on our personal phones after hours for stuff.I completely agree. In our line of business I would say 90% of our services rely on phone outreach. Although connecting with folks is rare, the voice mails is what gets our message across supplemented by email outreach.

that sucksI still use my home phone a lot because it is convenient, and I mostly make phone calls at home. I also don't need to worry about running out of battery life, poor cell phone reception, and other cell phone related problems.
