Let's say you've been waiting for this new game and it's only just come out. So you buy it on launch day and start playing...
And then what do you do?
Do you play the game non stop until it's beaten, then never touch it again? Do you play the game for short periods of time when you're free? Play one game non stop until you get the next one?
I'm a grade whore, so classes always trump video games. When I'm not studying, I play games on and off when I have the free time, interspersed with other activities. If another game comes out that I want before I beat the first one, it often ends up getting dropped for a while. Sometimes I come back to it, sometimes I don't.
The one exception to this is Pokemon; I usually finish the main games within a week.
I don't usually play video games a lot, just because I got it recently.
If the game in interesting then sure, otherwise, I would just kick it to the bottom.
