How often do you edit HTML or PHP files for your websites?

I mainly use Kompozer which is a "what you see is what you get" website editor to edit my HTML files. I sometimes use notepad.

I edit my websites on a monthly or sometimes a weekly basis when I find a new way to optimize my website for faster loading, or better designs.

If there is an error or something, then I'll edit the files to solve the problem. Then again, if I want to add in something new, then I'll modify the files,

hmmm maybe once a month? But I don't really like going in to mess with those kinds of files.
