How often do you buy video games? 

I don't buy video games often because they cost so much money.  It's at least $30 a piece for games for my 3DS and $50-$60 a piece for games for my Wii U.  Since games are that much, I don't buy a video game that often and I make sure it's a game that I really want.

Purchased pretty much none in 2014 due to not wanting to play them on my X360. Now I have a PS4, I'm back to buying a lot of games. I'll cool down until I complete them now though.

Hmmm, depends on what I want and release date. Last year my average was like buying one new game every 3-4 months.

I'm also really picky about what I buy, more so now that they are expensive.  But I am not into the same games that most of my peers are into normally.
