Apparently they removed it because they thought offering vouchers for a competitor's digital download service with products was bad for their business. Sorry, but you're a shop. You don't just remove parts of games because they compete with your own services and products, and this sounds outright pathetic. Especially as customers would have to pay to get the same game from their service rather than OnLive.

What do you think of this?

What I don't like is that they are opening the new games and repackaging them as "New". Now the last thing I want to do is buy something full price when it has been tampered with, especially removing the free promotional voucher. Even I don't do that at the store I work at. It's not honest.

I know, I know, it's Gamestop. They've been practicing these methods for who knows when but even then you have to have standards.

Taking away a free anything that comes with a game (in this case the OnLive voucher) is not a good way to get customers to buy from your stores. Especially when they can go to a competitors store and buy it there for the same price with the voucher.

I can understand where they're coming from. Maybe this was a smart business decision on their part so they wouldn't lose business, I wouldn't know, but even so I'm not keen on the idea that they can just take stuff out of the game I'm going to buy.
