Nintendo answered some frequently asked questions about their Pokemon Bank service yesterday.

The FAQ explains some unique features of the service to users and what to expect. A player can store up to 3,000 Pokemon in 100 online boxes. Players can use this service to import Pokemon from Pokemon Black, Pokemon White,Black 2, and White 2. Once the service is set up, it can be used sort and manage Pokemon from multiple copies of Pokemon X and Y (including digital copies). you can read the entire FAQ here.

But what happens to stored Pokemon if the no-charge trial period ends (or a user subscription expires)? Nintendo did not share any insight into what happens but said, “more details about how this functionality will operate will be announced closer to launch.”

Pokemon Bank is an online subscription-based service (and application) that allows players to store and manage Pokemon in online boxes via the Internet. The annual service fee is $4.99 and will go live on December 27. Nintendo previously announced there will be a special 30-day trial period if Pokemon Bank is downloaded and opened by January 31, 2014.
