How to make an undeletable folder?

In the worst case situation, I ended up deleting my anime folder because I wasn't aware it was selected last night and when my prompt asked me to perm delete it, I didn't realize what I was fully doing till tonight.

*deep internal screaming of bloody hell*

Ahem, *composes* anyways, as I restore a two month out of date backup, anyone know how to make a folder that can't be deleted?

There is a read-only folder check box option in the Properties for a folder according to How to Change the Read-Only Attribute on Files and Folders - dummies

The read-only check box in properties make the file not deletable.

Well, you could only hide folders as far as I know.
But it's a pain to unlock it for use, each and everytime

I think you can also set the folder to read-only in the permissions section of a drive and folder properties.

How to Create Undeletable Folders in Windows 10

Erasing a file is a straightforward task, but sometimes the wrong files can be deleted. If there is a folder that you don't ever want to erase, creating an undeletable folder is your best bet.

Burning files and folders to a DVD-R or Blu-Ray-R disc can make a file undeletable.

If the folder in question fits on the DVD or Blu-ray, but we’re talking about an anime folder, and I doubt he wants to painstakingly burn every single show to disc.

Well there are 50GB disks. But yes the time would be a problem and cost.

Depending on quality and resolution, he can def fit a full 26 episode season on a single disc, but it also depends on how many shows he had in his folder. I doubt he has 3TB of shows like me, but still.
