During its annual financial results conference call, game publisher Activision revealed a slew of movie and TV tie-ins games it plans to release in the next year, including games based on The Family Guy, Spider-Man, Bakugan and games tied in with the upcoming X-Men and Transformers films. A new title tied in with the Cabela's hunting franchise was mentioned as well. No details on these games were revealed, but when we hear more, we'll let you know.
Along with entertainment property tie-ins, Activision said it is working on a "new gaming universe" that will launch in the "back half of this year." No details on this new property were revealed, but Activision promised full details will be announced at the upcoming New York Toy Fair -- does that mean it's a kids' game? Smart money is on, "yes, it's a kids' game."
