Ok heres what you gotta to do, go to 2-4 and go to the room with a gree waddle doo, a drink, two slopes on the left and right of the room. Now its best to kill everything in the room. now climb the ladder or just flot to the top of it. Now stay on top of the ladder and hold left than press and hold down, and just keep on holding left and down and kirby will be doing this glitch it also works while on the ladder too.

I'm not exactly sure what the glitch is. Good description of how to get it, but what exactly is it?

It causes kirby to glitch out by trying to duck and climb down the ladder, which also sends out stars. I think this glitch works because the player is holding left near a wall so kirby just sits there but when the player holds down too the can thinks the player is trying to duck and go down the ladder. With that beening said does it work on the nes version?

I'll go test this on the Wii's Virtual Console version. Usually glitches from the original NES games can still be found on the VC versions (World -1 in Super Mario Bros. for example).

Okay, I've confirmed that this glitch DOES work on the NES version... sort of. Kirby spazzed out, but there weren't any stars flying out like you said. Still, it's an interesting glitch.

This just made me think up a theory hypothesis, if this glitch works in the nes version does the near inf. mike kirby glitch work on the 3D classic?

^That's a hypothesis, not a theory. Anyway though, I wouldn't be surprised if all the original glitches were present.

Speaking of the -1 level in Super Mario Bros., I wonder if you can access the negative levels in the 3DS virtual console version. Anyone know?
