I can't find the motivation to finish Omega Ruby. I started strong and was enjoying it a lot, but now I'm just past Fortree, my team is now fully evolved, and I'm just smothering opponents. No excitement to be found anywhere.
 
That's kinda the reason why I haven't bought the game, I don't think I'd be able finish it. I kinda went overboard while playing pokemon X, like way overboard... I won't be picking up the game for awhile. I think I need some time away from pokemon :/
Lol I almost bought it while out Christmas shopping...
 
Well it is a remake, the only real change is the primal forms and delta series and no battle frontier and some new mechanics. I say try finishing it for the primal and mega evolutions, they're really fun to play with and especially the short but very entertaining delta episode. :) Put it down for now and come back to it later I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you get a break from it, it's sincerely fun throughout the story mode, not just the battling but plot and your secret bases :3. Seems like its way easier than the GBA version lol.

The 3DS Pokemon games are a bit easy. Especially with the Exp. Share. But to be honest when I played Sapphire my Blaziken was about level 78 when I beat Stephan so at least you can mow through the game with more options... However Battle Tower and catching Pokemon was pretty fun.
 
I do like the Exp Share now, I hated grinding back in the old days. I just feel like my Pokemon have all gotten too strong though, maybe I should turn it off. Or, maybe my issue is with the game's AI and not so much the leveling issue.
 
I'd say play for the knowledge that the Delta Episode comes after the Elite Four…that wound up being the highlight for me, even better than the nostalgia trip the game took me on as a whole.  An actual postgame story that somewhat reminded me of the postgames for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games as far as tying the plot of the game itself together…and a really entertaining one at that.
