PS5 If PS5 goes viral for -50% discount just for a day, would you sale your valuable to get it?

This question was asked by a friend of mine who is a gamer like me, and very curious to get a brand new PS5 console.
He said, he gonna sell his valuable, or borrow to get such a discounted PS5 console within 24 hours before the discount elapse. He said he wouldn't stand a chance to miss such a grandeur of opportunity to secure his dream PS5 console with a -50% discount.

If you're presented with such an option to get a brand new PS5, what will you do, when you don't have much to spend?

You got a plan, if such happen some persons online can simply become rich through it. They can simply sell their valuables if they don't have enough funds to buy plenty, simply to resell them all for higher profit.
