I figured that because now I've got a bit of time off, I will have the time to be able to do my own stuff and whatnot, so I figured a Shenanigan Guy game would be fun and also help me learn more about Flash. So basically, if there was to be a Shenanigan Guy game, what would you want it to be? A quiz? A platformer? Some form of mini-game based thing? Make your suggestions here, but keep in mind that I'm not amazingly brilliant at this kind of stuff. I can do basic to intermediate, maybe a tiny bit of expert, but nothing crazy... YET. So yeah, make a simple suggestion and I'll consider it, and maybe in the end pick my most favourite suggestion and try turning it into something that works.

Maybe something like Super Paper Mario. An RPG platformer. There could be items and people you can talk to.That would be awesome.

This.

So what does that make your Paper Mario game, huh? Come ON, you can't get much better than that, surely!

Anyway, a platformer would be cool with the ability to choose between the different characters. Later, you can even add an RPG aspect to it or make a sequel.

Now, if I do decide to make a platformer... I can't really have platforms that are curved, they all have to be rectangles, basically. I can't even have triangles. The reason? Can't make a fully-fledged physics system in Flash just yet, because it's collision detection sucks absolute ass.

But having all of the 5 characters playable would be pretty cool though, and something that's easily done.

Do I see a lot of curves in most platformers? Nope. Hey, you nearly made a Paper Mario game and a Kirby game so I reckon you can make a platformer pretty easily. Just as easy as I could with Gamemaker, if I wanted too, heh.

I've technically already made the physics for the basic platform (that's the Paper Mario game thing, that was based off of the Kirby game thing), so I just copy paste that and it's just a matter of adding events. I would love to make an RPG though, it would be amazing. Just not sure if I can manage it.

Mini-games! Somewhat like your Paper Mario game, but with more zaniness and randomness.

I can help you with making blocks for the platformer. You should also have enemies that is memebers with nintendo characters, from N3DSC.

If I am going to be making a platformer, I may as well investigate in making tile-based platformers in Flash. That way, if you were to make blocks, Fillfall, I could easily shove them in and edit as necessary.

I still have lotsa other things to do right now though, so I haven't given this much thought, but a platformer seems to be an interesting test for me.

I say platformer, that would be totally rad.
Sounds like platformer's received the most votes.

I say Shenanigan guy Monopoly game.
I'm afraid I can't let you- *ahem*, I'm afraid I can't even do that, Dev.

Just message me how you want it. I may also send you a pretty good one.
Once I get the core coding done (if I do get it done, heh), I'll send you a message asking for pretty pictures and blocks. So don't start drawing anything just yet until I give you some sort of message signalling so, heh.

Okay, that's fine.

I think if I'm making anything over my holidays, it'll be a quiz. I want to make a Shenanigan Guy quiz. Sorry peeps, no platformer (besides, it would be an awful game to play, I just know it), and a quiz can be much more interesting to create. Plus I've got a bit of the quiz stuff already coded, I just need to make it pretty. This will be a good test for me.

Will it be a 'Which Shenanigan guy character are you' type quiz?
I don't know what type of quiz it is. To be honest, I never thought of that kind of quiz until just now, heh. That would be pretty awesome. Anybody else have any suggestions for interesting quizzes?
