If youtube thumb nails aren't loading

It is because Youtube recently changed the display image file format from .jpeg to .webp file format. You simply need to enable this in your web browser which I know for sure for Firefox is:

type about:config into the firefox address bar and then change image.webp.enabled = false to image.webp.enabled = true

It is disappointing that YouTube and Firefox don't work together, so Firefox users don't have to make changes in the about:config section to see thumbnails.

Well, that's a nice tip.
I don't use Firefox at all and usually Google chrome is my first choice
