In this thread I would like for you to post if you will PM me for the interest in becoming a forum Moderator here at Gaming Force. As a new Administrator here, I am authorized to hire a member to become a helping hand in our safety and security in this community for our members and future members.

What I would like PM'd to me is your interest in becoming a Moderator, if you have any, and some history of your forum experience or past Moderating. Also please tell me why you would like to become a Moderator of this forum and what you believe is your strength if you were to be chosen.

I personally don't see why we need another moderator.

Me and Froggy are pretty much on daily.

But whatever, this is your call as new Admin I guess, and I know you must have run it by DS.

So may the best member be chosen.
 
DS actually gave me the permission before hand, and I think It would be good to have another to help in other areas that can be solely assigned to them. You do a great job, but it's not too terrible to have more. :grin:

So you talking about a forum moderator in charge of a certain subforum?

Then thats more understandable.

Which sub forum did you have in mind?
 
I don't believe in board only mods, they are potentially useless if the whole forum is hit with spam. I told coach he may bring on one mod in or off the board to keep things going and active here.

For awhile now staff hasn't been a main driving force here on the boards, I hope to change that in the coming months.

Isn't that something that me,you,DCoachM,and Froggy could handle if it came up?

Given that all 4 of us are pretty active I don't see how this would affect a subforum only moderator

Not fully getting this, care to elaborate further?
 
The forum is growing, and I know there are days you can't make it on. I would feel better if there were 3 mods around to ensure things remain clean up specially after the recent spam. The number won't grow beyond three.


I would like to see staff make more interactive topics, suggest more to improve the site, get out to draw more members in, create some video game playing contest (like a CoD playgroup or mario kart gathering). Something like that.

Well I understand now, and considering RedCarpet is gone then a 3rd moderator would be neccessary to feel that void.

I do understand what DS is saying here. And I am listening to you as well TC. In any sport, a team is usually made of up 5 or more players that can hold everything together. In saying this, a 5th would not be a bad idea.
 
I might be interested but are there certain things I need to know about? Such as a certain amount of time I need to be on or a certain requirement like having a Skype?
