Possibly, if the computer scientists can make microchips which are small and efficient enough where they do not need fans. I think Tablets like the ipad, Blackberry Playbook, Google Android Tablets, and Smartphones will lead the way when it comes to fanless computers which need no fan, or only one fan to cool the whole computer.

The Playstation Vita, and Nintendo 3DS are as powerful as computers made a few years a go, but they don't require fans for cooling.

I think over time most people who just buy computers for e-mail, web browsing, office work, school, multimedia, and other basic tasks will just buy computers which are fast enough for doing these tasks, but run cool enough to not need a fan, or just 1 very slow moving fan.

But, for hardcore gamers, most of their PCs would probably still have fans since gamers like to tweak their computer to run superfast for playing the latest games at high quality levels which will require many fans to cool their PC.

Plus, I think Gamers love having computer fans with flashy lights, and effects on them to show off to fellow gamers.

I say technology became cursed when it needed a cooling system. to get rid of that would make machines better.

I'm okay with Passive cooling which uses your room's cool air to cool the machine without the need for fans to move the air, or electricity to run a cooling systems.

I think this is why a lot of people are enjoying their Tablets, smart phones, PSP, DS, Gameboy, and portable devices since they don't need fans, or cooling to stay cool.

I love those Shiny LED fans and lights as well. When I have more money, I would like to buy a computer full of LED lights and fans. Plus, they look kind of cool when the fans spins. It reminds me of a carnival, rave, or dance party.

Random cool LED decorated computer case I found on YouTube.

LED lights are not very expensive if your computer has a see-through window for seeing the lights. LED fans can be bought for 5 dollars or less, and those long tube lights can be bought for 10 dollars or less online.

Installing just require screws to screw into your computer case.

You are usually getting a better computer case which is better built if it comes with LED lights compared to those cheap 20 dollar computer cases which uses thin metal which bends easily, or poorly painted metal because most of the time only premium and well-built computer cases come with LED lights.
