In the future whould online services like NetFlix, Xbox Live, PSN, etc just provide its own internet

Yes, I think all the big online content creators and services like NetFlix, Xbox Live, PSN, Google, iTunes, Amazon, Onlive, cloud computing, etc will probably all team up together to buy satellites, invent a new wireless internet connection for their services, or make their own Mega ISP in all the big cities to provide internet to power their online services instead of relying on the ISP to control their traffic, speed, and put data limits on bandwidth for users which can cause Netflix and other companies to lose money because of the ISP limiting their users usage of the internet.

Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple and other big internet and computer companies most likely have enough cash to make a giant super fast ISP for their services, and earn money from advertisement, sponsorship, charge people a small a mount of money for it when they subscribe to their services, or buy from their DLC store.

Indeed, but if you have money to hire the smartest computer scientists, and workers like Microsoft, Sony, Google, Facebook, Amazon, Yahoo, and other big companies they can do it by using money to create a mega fast ISP for people to use with services like Xbox Live, so Xbox Live players who don't have access to broadband can just use the bundled connection which they can get wirelessly, or high speed DSL which use phone lines like Dial-up to go online to play Xbox Live.

Xbox Live makes a lot of its money from DLC, so if more people are online they make even more cash from DLC.

I suppose the PS4 would introduce it's own internet then, it be a huge hit against Nintendo and MS.

I think it would take alot to make it happen but I don't think it would be completely impossible and it is something that possibly they may consider. You never know what will happen next in this day and age and there is so much that is possible.

I heard Google is going into the ISP buisness in Kansas, Kansas City where they offer 1000 Mbps speeds to the residents for free : http://arstechnica.c...city-kansas.ars

I believe Yahoo is also an ISP, but they use the SBCglobal name, but I think SBCglobal is now run by AT&T.

I feel Google and other companies want more people with fast internet for a cheap, or free price since Google and other companies make billions of dollars from Adsense Ads, Adwords, Affiliate ads, YouTube video Ads, Paid Downloadable Content, Paid Streaming video, etc, but I got a feeling if these companies gave a way free internet then blocking Ads with AdBlockPlus, and other Ad blockers will get you banned from using its internet since their internet is funded by internet Ads. Plus, you might not be able to block certain sites like Google, or Amazon since they want you to spend your money on their sites instead of other sites.

Spammers, Trolls, Hackers, and other people who harm the internet also might get banned from free internet since they make the internet less friendly to use, and having innocent sites like forums, blogs, etc hacked is no fun for anyone who need to use the site.

Same for me, but I wonder why they picked Kansas out of so many other cities which are bigger.
