What's the most expensive you've ever paid for fast food/takeout? I was with my best friend yesterday at an air show for fleet week (military thing) and she paid 16 dollars for a crab cake. 16 DOLLARS.

Placed an order for Chinese delivery for me and an ex. Cost like $85 by the time everything was accounted for (tax, tip, delivery fee, etc). For two people. There are many reasons why we’re no longer together. XD

Because food vendor space/booth rent is not cheap at an air show and it's costly to do an airshow, especially the blue angels one. On the fighters' fuel alone, It's about 1,300 gallons per plane per 75-minute show. for seven planes at average jet fuel costs, it runs about $40,950 per show.

Right?? Like, sometimes there would be soup left because they wouldn’t eat it, but that’s about it.

Then there’s the time I lived in the UK where the conversion rate was £1 = $1.67, so that added up quickly after awhile.
