A new patch for Infamous: Second Son is expected to hit PlayStation Network April 17.
The patch - Infamous' first since its March 21 release - will tackle a number of fan requests. The main features are the ability to disable the in-game heads-up display (HUD) to get an unobstructed screenshot and the ability to change the time of day at your discretion once you beat the game.
Players will also have the option to cap the frame rate at 30 FPS. "This is a frame rate cap — not a lock," said the Playstation Blog announcement. "It won’t eliminate the rare instance of a dropped frame during gameplay."
The patch will also include a previously unannounced "photo mode" that will allow players to use a number of internal tools (like depth of field) to capture quality shots. "We were totally amazed at the quality of the screenshots you all shared. Amazed. So we thought we’d try to help you all out," the blog said.
Infamous: Second Son is perhaps the highest-profile exclusive title for PlayStation 4.
