Popularized back in the day were polaroids. It's made a comeback in recent years. I personally have a HP Sprocket which allows me to print pictures instantly from my phone. I love including photos in my journal entries so the adhesive feature per photo print is pretty awesome.

lol, had to sell those, they seem to break easily.
 
I always felt they were really cheap and hard to use. Always used digital cameras. Sure it's okay when on vacation but odds are you'd still remember your relatively expensive camera.
 
I don't think people like to have photos printed anymore. I still do. I put them in frames and give them away as gifts.
 
I have an old Polaroid Instant Camera which I got from my parents. I find Polaroid instant photos fun because users can almost see and hold the picture after it has finish developing from the film.
 
Those weren’t hard to use either, it was just that you had to go and get the film developed.

The only difference between old school cameras and digital cameras is how you receive the picture.

Some had really cheap buttons if I recall right from certain trips.
