The slimmer, sexier, shinier device is "33 percent thinner"(8.8 mm compared to the original 13.4 mm) and boasts dual cameras. Along with the facelift, the iPad 2 also packs a dual core CPU.
The new A5 chip allows the iPad 2 clock up to "9x faster graphics," while still maintaing an impressive 10 hour battery life. The tablet will also support HDMI video output, albiet you will have to purchase a $39 attachment to enjoy that luxury. If that's not enough to whet your gadget appetite, the iPad 2 has a starting price of $499 and will ship March 11 to both AT&T and Verizon customers.
