One of our biggest issues with the iPad was that it is simply too expensive, and by most standards, a non-essential luxury device. Well, apparently, it wasn't quite expensive and luxurious enough, as a design studio that specializes in blinging out tech has introduced a new, solid gold "Supreme" iPad, complete with a diamond encrusted Apple logo.
The case comprises of a single piece of 22 carat gold, with 25.5 carats of flawless diamonds making up the Apple logo. Naturally, a pure gold case adds a little extra weight over the normal metal panel, and brings the total weight of the unit from 1.5 pounds to a whopping 4 pounds. As far as tech specs are concerned, the unit remains identical to any other iPad, though of course, it only comes in the 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G variation.
How much will said extravagantly bedazzled tablet cost you? Roughly $190,000, you know, if you just have it laying around.

this thing is too big to hide and if you pull out this over sized bling bling in public you might as well have a huge sign on top of your head saying "come rob me you stupid thugs".
