The iPhone recently got the 1.1.1 update treatment, which broke 3rd party app support. Hackers have now broken the new firmware.
3rd party apps are up and running and have even been ported to the iPod Touch.
They all use the same Mobile Safari exploit to function, however, which means expect Apple to fix it in the next firmware update.
So begins the vicious cycle of exploits being fixed and hackers scrambling to find new ones. It's what makes the PSP so fun.
So messed up, Apple needs to track those hackers down somehow. They're really stirring up trouble with their gadgets.
