There's a game called 1979 Revolution which tries to tell the story of said revolution in Iran. However, apparently it's caused such a stir in the country it's about that the creator's been contacted by various people, sites have been shut down/blocked cause of it and the authorities there have tried to smash up stores in bazaars looking for the game.
It's not too surprising, but yeah. Definitely shows you how bad attempts at censorship can get with the wrong type of regime, doesn't it? As much as the censorship in modern gaming sucks, at least we're not getting SWAT teams smashing up GameStops in a mad attempt to hunt down copies of them.
