We live in a society where we like the man to be the one to express feelings first. While I'm old-school & have no problem, me as a female, expressing feelings to a man, I know I would appreciate it if it was shown first. There's just something about holding onto tradition that makes one, or at least me lol, feel goodMost women would like the man to make the move first. I guess that is more like how it should be.
I agree, there's nothing awkward about it. As a matter of fact, I was impressed when a lady told me her feelings. She's got the balls of a man. There's nothing awkward about it, feelings are feelings, gender should be immaterial. It is ironic that custom dictates the traditionally more stoic gender express their feelings first, lol.
