Is it better to focus on having multiple traffic sources for your website?

Yes, since if your most popular traffic source like your affiliate website, Search Engines, social network links goes down, or bans your link for whatever reason your traffic also goes down, and you might be left with having very little traffic.

I'm thinking of finding additional sources of Traffic like from a Youtube Channel, Facebook Group, and other ways for people to find my websites instead of just search engines.

Direct traffic is the best which is traffic from bookmarks, and when people type your site in their browsers

I agree that it's better to have focus on having multiple traffic sources for a website or forum. more then a 100 people can easily visit your website in a day.

I wouldn't say that it is good to have multiples as it leaves you vulnerable to spamming from multiple sources as well.

True, but most of the spambots just go to random insecure sites to spam their links.
