Yes, I think for most non-famous people with hundreds of friends on FB who upload video can get more views from Facebook for their videos compared to other sites since most videos by smaller video makers don't get many views because of so many videos already on other sites about the same topic unless you use SEO, tags, and descriptive video descriptions which is not very easy for the average joe to do right.

People on Facebook who have a lot of friends, family, co-workers, strangers and neighboors who are their friends on Facebook, so if you upload or share a video to Facebook more of your FB friends might watch it on their Facebook Feed/Wall, and like and reshare it within Facebook via Groups, Pages, and their own profiles if the video is good.

Plus, some sites already have too many videos on their search results, or too few visitors who are interested in searching for your videos.

I guess so, since so many mindless people flock to the site.

A lot of people on the site also feel the need to stay connected with their FB friends by reading and commenting on their videos, photos, and status updates.

Plus, with FB you can just scroll down the wall feed on the homepage of Facebook to watch multiple videos by hiting the play button on the video player without leaving the frontpage of FB unlike other sites where you need to click a link to go to the video page, or search for videos via categories, tags, and search box.

I agree famous people on YouTube will get more views on YouTube, but I heard the new YouTube layout is making some bigger YouTubers lose a lot of views.

A lot of Popular YouTubers also use Facebook groups/pages to embed their YouTube videos to their personal FB profile, and fanpages because the YouTube Subscription page on YouTube is harder to use, and only shows new videos from the past 5 days which is kind of short, and YouTube sometimes randomly unsubscribes you from people you are subscribe to.

YouTubers are also using Twitter, their own website, Google+, Myspace, Tumblr, apps, and other popular sites to promote their videos, so people can more conveniently view them, and to let more users find their vids easier.
