Somewhat important since a lot of people in places without cable or DSL internet still relies on dial-up for browsing the web. But, I won't make my website have fewer pictures or a plain template, so it loads faster for dial up users since the people with faster internet will think my website template is too plain.

I think if it is a government or company website like Amazon it might be more important since a lot of people need to use their websites for finding information or buying stuff.

it's best to try and keep your website to work with all internet connections, but sadly broadband is taking over and website makers are forgetting dial up users.

A lot of people share one internet connections with multiple computers, laptops, game consoles, and other devices by using a router, so I'm seeing that making websites faster loading more important since it can be very slow when multiple computers are downloading big video files.
