Is it possible Sony will get the “better together” upgrade for Minecraft Ps4?

Looks like I’m kinda late to the party, but Sony opened up on crossplay with Fortnite even though it’s just a beta.

But with this being the case, since that was one of the major points making the Ps4 version remain in legacy, is it possible now it’ll finally get the better together and super duper graphical update?
