Is Platinum Games getting too much hype?

I love action games and I like Platinum Games action games.

But does anyone else think they are getting way too much publicity? Every company seems to be hiring them to do work for them.

Aren't there ANY other action game developers out there?

I know their last few games have sucked, not sure what makes them good.

Eh, they do have some good titles... The Bayonetta series was pretty cool, then they made The Legend of Korra. These kinda put the company into the limelight...
