Replay, it's where you replay a game you already beat once or many times. Back in the old gaming days you replayed a lot of games due to lack of titles or money to get more.
These days though, do you still find yourself replaying a lot of games or do you play them once and never play with them again?
On occasion, I feel the urge to replay certain games (like killer7 or right now, Silent Hill 1).
Maybe it's just to have some fun or to experience a great story again.
I've been replaying Goldeneye 64 on-and-off to get some of the cheats and eventually beat Aztec.
I used to replay games over and over back in the N64 days. Now it's more like a 2for kind of thing where I'll play the game once through and then again (because now I have the hang of it lol) and prety much that's the end of it. :/
Although in my defense I haven't played any console games in a really long time.
I replay games since there are fewer new games which I am interested in, but I have many older games which I already own which I like to replay.
I think with leaderboards, and online competitions on who is the best gamer, replaying games is becoming a lot more popular.
Plus, some kinds of games like racing, shooters, and sports games, the replay value is very good because they are not as story based as a RPG, Action Adventure game, etc which is more story based.
MMORPG like Runescape, and World of Warcraft also has a lot of replay value because there are a lot of players to play against.
