Last year a survey was released where Sony asked users to vote for features they most wanted on PS4. These included folders, online notifications, the ability to appear offline, PS1 games on PS4 and PS2 games on PS4.
We have already got the PS2 games on PS4, alongside many of the other features outlined above, but we still do not have PS1 emulation.
It is expected these would work in the same way - they won't be backwards compatible and would be upscaled to 1080p with trophy support. Thus needing a separate purchase from PSN to play the game. I am personally fine with this but backlash was strong when the service for PS2 games first started. The question is, should they do the same approach with PS1 games now? Or do you want them to get more PS2 games first?
