Is upgradeable/replaceable RAM and hard drive still important on a laptop for your needs?

Yes, upgradeable/replaceable RAM and hard drives are still important when buying a laptop, or any other full size computer which is not a tablet.

But, if a PC costs $50-200, I may still buy the a PC even if the storage and RAM are not upgradeable because it is a good deal, and don't plan to upgrade the PC in the future.
 
yep, I know a bunch of people who buy laptops cheap and pump it up with more RAM and SSD.
