I bought a few universal remotes, microwave, lightbulbs, door bell, fire alarm, a lamp, and other electrical and electronic devices from Walmart for a good price, and they worked pretty well.

Walmart also has a lot of less popular branded electronics made by RCA, Hisense, Nextbook, Proscan, Westinghouse, and Sanyo which are cheaper than better brands like LG, Samsung, Sony, etc, so there are electronics for people who can't afford better brands which are also available at Wal-mart.

Target closed down after a few years in Canada, but Wal-Mart is still in business in Canada. I think one of the reasons Target closed down is because its selection of electrionics, and other stuff is not very good, and the prices are not as affordable.

Walmart is pretty dirty with their scam items though.

They will get awful lines of products that are suppose to break often.
Headphones are a total scam there.
I was buying this $30 headset and they would last 40 - 90 days no matter how careful I was with them. After about 6 of them I switched to earpiece ones and they last 2 months on average. Within the past 3 years I've went through over 20 pairs all together.

Also I noticed their their cheap tvs are super awful.

I agree some of the products Walmart sell like headphones don't look durable, so it is a good idea to read product reviews on Walmart's website, and other websites which review electronics sold at Wal-Mart.

I think buyers also have to be careful buying electronics from Best buy, Costco, Sears, and other stores since some electronics brands are not good. But, even when you buy from big brands like Sony, Samsung, Microsoft, Apple and Dell from other stores, you can end up getting something which break quickly like the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which caught on fire or exploded when turned off.

I agree some of Wal-Marts cheaper TVs are not good, but I seen some RCA and Proscan TVs which people can buy from Wal-Mart being used as a TV with a security system at stores or to display items for sales by running Powerpoint slideshow program on the TV.

No place is best really, though reading the reviews first could save you some headaches.

True, no place is best. But, the amount of electronics from different brands seem to be better at Walmart Canada compared to Target Canada which closed down a few years ago because its prices and selection of products it sold was not good, and Target never became popular in Canada like Walmart, Sears, and ToysRus.
