Israel's Cellebrite, a provider of mobile forensic software, is helping the US Federal Bureau of Investigation's attempt to unlock an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino, California shooters, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported on Wednesday.

If Cellebrite succeeds, then the FBI will no longer need the help of Apple, the Israeli daily said, citing unnamed industry sources.

Cellebrite officials declined to comment on the matter.

I'm pretty sure there is hacks out there, they just have to be found/torrented.

I wonder if there will be any useful data related to the investigation on the iPhone since I read on a blog that the phone is a phone used for work, and the shooters destroyed their personal phones. There are some work places, you can get fired or in trouble for using your work phone for playing games, making non-related text and calls, and using the phone for personal non-work activities because the boss is afraid your phone will get hacked by a virus, or hacker, and the companies personal data is leaked to the public, or stolen by hackers.
