Jackie Chan has revealed the details for his latest film, a project called Big Soldier which had previously been kept under wraps by the Hong Kong superstar.
The $25 million film, according to Variety, is being produced and written by Chan, who will of course also star. The picture will focus on "three people and a horse." How's that for details?
The cast also includes Lee Hom, Lin Peng, and South Korean actor Yoo Seung-Jun. The film is being directed by Underdog Knight's Ding Sheng and has been shooting in China's Yunnan Province and Beijing.
"The film is set during the Warring States Period," Chan said during a news conference yesterday. "I play a big soldier, and Lee Hom plays a junior soldier. It's an action picture with black humor plus a bit of romance."
