Uncharted film director Ruben Fleischer has confirmed that he is indeed working on an adaptation of Jak and Daxter (A24 is not confirmed to be connected, though we can dream).

In an interview with Digital Trends promoting the upcoming Uncharted film, Fleischer revealed that, while not giving any details, he is working on bringing the iconic duo to life. “I’m actually working on Jak and Daxter, a version of that, for PlayStation, which I think would be really cool to bring to life.”

"I've always wanted to do more of a space opera-type film. Jak and Daxter takes place in a different world, and it has certainly very different characters than our human form," explains Fleischer.
 
Is this IP made by Insomniac? Might watch it but likely not. Was the Ratchet and Clank movie any good so I can have some idea based on the characters?

It's made by Naughty Dog. Rachet and Clank also bombed. No Sony game movie is successful yet so far I believe.

yeah. Maybe they should try Sly Cooper movie, though I much much prefer a new game instead a movie.
