Jalapenos

I like jalapenos but I cannot have the hot ones. My husband cooks so when he cuts them up, he tastes each one & if it's hot, he sets it aside for his own dish. The mild ones he adds to the main dish for both of us. They are great in stir-fries & gravy.
Do you like jalapenos? What do you like adding them to?

I haven't had them much because my family doesn't get them. But I would be willing to try the ones with cream cheese and bacon. I wish we had some for tacos but we have banana peppers instead and don't use them as much either.

I like jalapenos flavoured chips, and nachos. But, I don't eat jalapenos on their own.

There are varying degrees of hot though
We've been eating jalapenos for many, many years & some DO taste hotter while others have a more mild taste.

I have tried jalapenos in the past and they are not something I feel I can eat and that is because of the hotness of them and how they affect my stomach since I had my gallbladder removed and unfortunately ended up with a hiatal hernia.

I remember having them on a pizza once and not realizing and that was not a pleasant experience, they were quite hot.

I personally love the flavor of Jalapenos. They are my second favorite pepper overall. Cayenne being my #1. Scorpion being my #3.

I unfortunately can't use them in anything I cook for dinner, the wife hates the taste of them :'( .

Cayenne is pretty hot too. I sweat everytime i eat something with it. My mom makes spaghetti sauce with it.
