Along with Super Mario Bros, Tetris, Pinball, Dr. Mario, and Yoshi's cookie. My friend that was cleaning his house gave it to me. Now all i got to do is get all the classics. Super Mario Bros 3 is a must have now. I must find a good place to get NES games cheap. I'm very updated with our modern technology aren't I?

Classic. I never had a NES, just a SNES.

I wonder if those games are considered collector's items yet...they're either going to be dirt cheap or crazy expensive.

*Gasp* Lucky I've always wanted one.

Nah I'm kidding I have one. Congratulations on getting what is considered Nintendo gold. I don't know what kind of stores you have where you live, but I have a store only one town away that sells NES games. They also sell all the way to Atari 2600. Even before that. Up to the new systems.

Heh, I downloaded Metroid for NES on the Virtual Console with me Wii. I got so frustrated I verbally abused it, and despised the password system. I know it would've been good for back in the day, but my gawd I was not having a good day, and Metroid only made me angrier.

But yeah, good job. There are shops in Australia called GameTraders that have games from literally every system. They are amazing, and not related to GameStop/EB Games, which is why they are more amazing (at least I have always hated EB Games in Australia, dodgy prices and trade-in deals).

Awesome, my family had a NES before I was born, wish we still had it. Well I hope you can find some cheap games for it, we have a place were I live called "the Check Outs", that has tons of old and new, games and Consoles that they sell at a decent price, but anyway hope you have fun with it, and ya, you have to get Super Mario Bros. 3, that game is Awesome!

Unfortunately my best option is through online... Only because I don't have my license just yet.

I got a few NES titles for 3DS virtual console through the ambassador program, and yeah, it's stuff like password systems that date them more than anything. The limitations of the graphics really don't bother me at all, it's the repetitive gameplay and inability to save that make them hard to get into.

I already have the virtual consoles for the 3ds. I want the actual cartridges for the NES though. It's much easier to play games on the system it was originally made for.
