PINT SIZED POP NIGHTMARE Justin Bieber is the most searched-for celebrity on Microsoft's Bing search engine.
What this says about Bing users is not for us to comment on, but this year they stopped being fascinated by Kim Kardashian, who fell back into the number two position, and lost interest in Barack Obama, who dropped from fifth to 49th place.

The US President was replaced in hearts, minds and internet searches with Jennifer Lopez, according to Bing's data. So perhaps the actress will have a good election year.

This time last year Bieber was of less interest to Bing users and at number six position was behind other worthy people-to-know-about like Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock. He now sits proud at the top of two lists, the most searched-for musician and most searched-for celebrity.

Presidentlal rival Lopez is a new entrant to the wilderness that is Bing users' likes, and entered the top ten along with teeth and tats actresses and singers Jennifer Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Megan Fox, and Miley Cyrus.
Other things that kept Bing users occupied in the past year were the UK Royal Wedding, the size of Beyonce's stomach, and "Lady Gaga Coming Out in the Egg". µ

Wow, congrats to JB for being most search on Bing!

He's still popular on the web and getting a lot of fan support, give credit to his fans on making his name the top search term on Bing.

Wow, many may not like him but you do have to admit he is a popular teen and this does show it.

Indeed, he is very popular thanks to his fans, Selena Gomez who he is dating, and his duets with Usher, Taylor Swift, and other pop singers which also help him out a lot to becoming a huge star.

I wonder does Bing being the default search engine for Internet Explorer, and Firefox with bing ( http://www.firefoxwithbing.com/ ) has much to do with Justin Bieber being popular since IE and Firefox with Bing are mainly used by e teens, children, and young adults based on reading forum threads on what browser people use.

Justin Bieber got famous because of posting a lot of videos of himself singing on YouTube, so most of his early fans where already on the internet. His fan girls are just now using Bing, Google, and Yahoo to search for him on other sites like Twitter, his homepage, and find JB forums, and fan sites.

Yes, we need more Justin Beiber content, but I bet a lot of people are already posting about Justin Bieber to get a lot of search traffic to their website, blog, or videos from JB searchers. A lot of YouTubers tend to make videos about Justin Bieber to get people to watch their videos.
