If you were hoping to go to K-Mart to pick up some new Blu-Ray movies or a player... think again. The discount retailer is dropping Blu-Ray from their stores.
K-Mart is claiming that Blu-Ray targets enthusiasts and is too expensive for their customers. That's nice. They just called their customers poor.
Not that they carried a huge selection in the first place, this certainly points to the growing trend of HD-DVD being marketed as the affordable next-gen format.
It's not really a big hit, but we guess you could call it a minor win for HD-DVD.

You have to see them side-by-side, or watch the same movie in hd dvd or blu-ray to notice it though... but its pretty huge when you see it.
