Welcome back,Pit.
After a 25 year wait, the second game in your series has FINALLY been release.
And today,I'm gonna review it.
So let's get started, and PREPARE TO MEET THE LIGHT!
Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty simple. We'll start off with the flying segments.
Now,you may think that touch screen based controls are bad,but you'd be wrong.
I find myself having a easy time with the touch screen controls, and they're not that bad.
The controls in general are fun and okay to play with.
So I wouldn't worry about the whole touch-screen-controls fiasco.
The flying segments are easy,as they're the parts you start off in the "Chapters" of the game.(Yeah,it has chapters.)It's easy to control, and they're not as bad as they seem.
Easy to play and control with, making it a good part of the game.
After the flying segments,we land on the ground.
You control your camera by flicking the touch screen left and right, which may seem uncomferable at first, but later you get used to it fast.
The attacks are the same as the flying segments:Circle Pad to move,(flick the Circle Pad to do a dash, both flying and/or ground),Touch Screen to control the shot, and L to shoot.
If this seems uncomfy to you, there's always adjustable controls.
You do shooting by pressing L from far away,or melee attacks by getting right up close and pressing L.They both do decent damage, and I never prefer one over the other.
The game plays smoothly, and is amazing. It's not as bad as most people made it to be!
The dialouge can get pretty funny,so it's not just there to annoy you. There's not "PIT USE L TO SHOOT",or anything like that,so it's used to get the story across and to make you giggle sometimes.
(Yes,there is random items that can pop up time from time to heal you.)
(No,I have NOT played Multiplayer yet.Sorry, people who wanted to see it.)
Graphics
The game looks freaking BEAUTIFUL.The 3D looks amazing, but just everything else looks beautiful.Pit looks well made, the enemies are clever and well drawn,it's freaking AMAZING.Everything to do with this just looks BEAUTIFUL,and AMAZING.It's what makes the game stand out.
Overall
Bottom line?
This game is what makes having a 3DS worth. It's beautiful, plays AMAZINGLY,and is just overall a GREAT GREAT game.It was DEFIANATLY worth the wait.Buy it as soon as you can. It's a amazing game, and it probally will be the 3DS' GoTY.
