A king should not act like this, loosing his temper over pen lmao:

The Senior Royals must be totally exhausted. I would also lose it. Millions of people watched as the orderlies stuffed up! Give him a break.

It is unfortunate that the staff did not pick a pen brand and model which was less likely to leak, or they could of use a marker which rarely leak.

To be fair, I can't really complain... I get frustrated by things like this all the time :P . Not pens specifically, but I have similar reactions (or worse) when my computers don't work as expected!

Everybody gets frustrated over something. The only difference is it may take some people a little longer before they get frustrated over it than others. Also, everybody has a different pet peeve that'll set them off. One person may not like a computer not working and doing what it's suppose to, another person may get upset over too much traffic (especially when they are in a hurry), others may get upset when you try to talk to them when they are on the phone, etc. Different things may set different people off. Apparently, King Charles III doesn't like having a pen that doesn't work or doesn't like having stuff in his way. *shrugs shoulders*

Well, I guess it also depends how many times it's happened to him before :P . If it's a persistent annoyance that occurs frequently (rather than a one-time thing), then it's understandable that it'd be a source of frustration.

And let's not forget that he's been going through an awful lot: he lost his mother, and he's taking on a new role as King. He's probably been under a lot of stress... when people like that, they do often snap at minor things!

I agree with this wholeheartedly! Some things can slide right off someone's back while it just irks another. Plus, he just lost a loved one. That can set anybody off. Little things that he may have handled before, just is too much now. Even a simple pen.
I've had a pen not working irritate me. That was also a day I was in a mood with other things not working lol

You guys are both right. He's had a lot to deal with lately. He lost his mom and had to take on a new role simultaneously.....that is a lot of stress. The whole pen thing has probably just getting on his nerves with everything he had to deal with.
