There are plenty of Kingdom Hearts games out there, but for a hardcore Kingdom Hearts fan, you can never have too many. Enthusiasts will be intrigued, then, by a story dug up by the folks at Joystiq. They tracked down a post by voice actor Phil Snyder which states that the actor has begun voicing lines for the classic Disney character Jiminy Cricket for a project titled "Kingdom Hearts Recoded."
This seems to be a strong indication that the episodic mobile games that have previously only been released in Japan are being localized for a stateside launch. The Kingdom Hearts: Coded games might come to iTunes' App Store, but another possibility is that the episodes will be compiled into a PSP or DS game and released under the title "Recorded," or perhaps "Re: Coded" to follow in line with Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories.
If there is a new Kingdom Hearts game being localized, there's always the chance we'll see something at E3 next week, or at the Tokyo Game Show later this year. Unfortunately, a Square Enix representative wasn't available for comment at the time this story was written
