The official Twitter account for the Kingdom Hearts Dark Road smartphone game revealed on Monday that the game is delayed "due to current conditions." The developers said that they were previously "trying to find some means" to release the game in spring. The game will have another announcement in early June.
Square Enix unveiled the new Kingdom Hearts "experience" with the codename "Project Xehanort" on January 23. Square Enix had teased the game as one of two projects with active teams besides the ones working on Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts Union χ. The game's tagline is "Why did he become the seeker of darkness?"
The app was originally announced to launch this spring for iOS, Android, and Amazon. The game will have in-app purchases.
