Square Enix today confirmed Kingdom Hearts Re:coded for the Nintendo DS will be released on January 11, 2011 in North America. The game will be out in PAL territories three days later on January 14.
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is a remake of the original mobile game, Kingdom Hearts Coded. The DS version includes some major gameplay changes, including the addition of a Birth by Sleep-style battle system.
To date, the Kingdom Hearts series has sold over 15 million copies worldwide.
