Kingdom Hearts...the weirdest combination of characters in gaming. (Final Fantasy with Disney).

I've played every game so far, and quite honestly, I only really loved KH1 and Chain of Memories. Once they introduced the Organization as main antagonists, I lost all interest.
 
I started with 358/2. I've played:

I've watched cutscenes of the first and second game along with re:chain of memories. My favorite is definitely Birth by Sleep in terms of story and characters. The thing that irks me is the cheapness of the bosses once you've completed the game and scope out the hidden goodies.

Mickey is definitely the most badass.
 
Days was horrible imo. The panel system was quite confusing and scrambled and the gameplay was repetitive.

BBS would have been great if it weren't for all that D-link crap.

Re:Coded was awful because it ruined the flow of the original mobile game.

The 2nd one is my favorite, except for that god-awful first part you had to play through at the beginning. You know, the one before releasing Sora?
 
I played the first one which was released on the PS2 and I loved it. I didn't really care for the story, but the battle system was great. It really was a fun and innovative way to play, especially if you're used to playing Final Fantasy games. For some reason I never played the other games though. I don't remember why, possibly because the story, but I do regret not playing them.

I have Dream Drop Distance on pre-order and can't wait for its release. If the game play is anything like the first game I may end up searching out the previous releases.

I never got the chance to play the original KH, is there a place where I can watch the cut scenes of all games and read the story? There is no point of jumping into the newer games if I have no clue what is going on and why.
 
Kingdom Hearts is my favourite series of all time and I was kinda hurt by the above comments, especially about Roxas seeing how him and Ventus are my favourite characters.

That aside I started with Days, went to buying a psp just for BBS, then bought a used PS2 for like $25 so I could then play 1 and 2. I'm sad that I still haven't completed KH2 because I will be playing DDD before it, but oh well. I have tomorrow all planned out to make it the best day ever. I'm going to Best Buy the second it opens to get a copy of the Mark of Mastery Edition. Then I'm going to Dairy Queen so I can get a large Moolatte, and then for dinner I'm having chinese food, so basically won-tons, my favourite food of all time. I'm so excited ^w^
 
I love Kingdom Hearts, but I can say that having each game on a different system gets really, really irritating... I still haven't had a chance to play BBS.
